SapSerums was originated in 2002 by Dr. Craig Wenborg. Dr. Wenborg reports: “I walked into an oxygen bar in Hong Kong, I was surprised to see a health club with people breathing oxygen while exercising. I realized that oxygen boosts cell metabolism. Under the name Oxyvital, I began the understanding of oxygen in human cell performance.”
Oxyvital was the original oxygen for health and beauty. Nebulized oxygen using serums were developed at Harmony Health. Over time and with patient experience, the Oxygen Facial Infusion system was refined and finalized.
Oxygen Facial Infusion was launched in 2004 following two years of research and patient application. Dr. Wenborg provided Oxygen Facial articles to the skin care industry. The US patent and trademark office provided a registered service mark to Dr. Wenborg for his development of Oxygen Facial.
In 2014, Dr. Wenborg began importing the ProFacial system from Korea. SpaSerum Aqua serums were developed in a similar method as with the oxygen serums. Responding to the needs of the skin care industry, Aqua serums were developed with the idea of natural ingredients, specific PH and non scent staining ingredients. The basis of the serum development was to provide a light peel serum, in line with the esthetician state license.
The ProFX system was introduced in 2016 as a more robust piece of equipment. SpaSerums was introduced to unite both the Oxygen and Aqua product lines.
